Berhampore Project
BERHAMPORE PROJECT
With the master plan to refit this 1907 home in Wellington, completed by CMID, the first stage of the project encompassed three bedrooms and the family bathroom.
The bedroom work involved designing inbuilt wardrobes and selecting new carpet and paint. We remained loyal to the existing dark timber and aligned the new wardrobe with the new wall colours. This preserved a certain mid-European feel to the project with all its rich hues and deep palette. The sheer ‘café’ curtains further embody the style of the continent.
The rejuvenated bathroom features new brushed brass plumbing amid more dark timber. Beautiful herringbone tiled flooring linked the bathroom to the broader character of the project.
The second stage of the project will focus on the living and dining rooms, the kitchen, and the laundry/powder room
