Hataitai Bathroom

Hataitai BATHROOMS

This home, in the inner-city Wellington suburb of Hataitai, is rich with character but needed an upgrade. CM.ID was tasked with designing a new bathroom in keeping with the client's desire for a luxury refit without compromising the house’s heritage.

Our planning involved a complete overhaul of the existing bathroom to enhance the aesthetic and improve functionality – a dual hallmark of CM.ID bathrooms. A new powder room was another key addition to the design.

We added a custom-made vanity and laid new herringbone tiled flooring to ground the spaces in the house's traditional identity.

We selected the eye-catching ceiling design to add a touch of theatre to the bathroom, relating it to the powder room by using the same design on the walls. The eye-catching sky motif is the Nuvolette wallpaper from the Cole & Son range.
