CMID worked closely with a body corporate and landlords – in New Zealand and abroad – to revive an entrance to an inner city art deco style apartment building in what is the first step of a wider refit.

The refreshed entrance is highlighted by floor tiling, which seamlessly harmonises with the art deco motif while paying tribute to the building’s heritage.  The space was enhanced with a paint scheme purposely tied to the existing leaf design on the wall. 

New lighting, mirrors, and brass detailing were integrated into the entrance to elevate it further. CMID was also tasked with restoring the lift to its former glory. The result is an entrance that residents feel proud to call theirs.
