On first viewing, this sweet cottage in Ngaio was outdated and lacked sufficient space planning. Nevertheless, it had great potential and the clients were motivated to modernise without comprising the quintessential cottage feel. The clients approached CMID after starting this project with an architectural design company, Blue Pencil.
While Blue Pencil worked on opening up the main spaces by removing structural walls, Charlotte planned, designed and oversaw the overall interior project. This included the kitchen, bathroom and all rooms in between. The clients were thrilled with the finished project.
"The end result is a dream to live in. It looks and feels incredible. Charlotte helped us settle on the style we wanted, bought it to life and made the entire project stress free and fun - which is quite the achievement, when it comes to big renovation projects!" - Juliet
